Van Buren Recreation Area (Fairfield Bay Campground)

The campground is open from April 1st to October 31.  All reservations are made on Campspot.com, except for the pavilions, you will need to call the Welcome Hut to reserve.  

The City of Fairfield Bay assumed responsibility for operation of the Van Buren Recreation Area (Fairfield Bay Campground) in 2024.

A formerly run Corps of Engineers property, our 64-site campground sits on Greers Ferry Lake in the beautiful Ozark Mountains.  In addition to lake activities (fishing, boating, swimming, kayaking, etc.).  Campers have access (separate fees my apply) to our two golf courses, ATV/UTV and hiking trails, miniature golf, bowling, swimming pools and an indoor fitness center.  They can also participate in the numerous festivals and downtown activities regularly held throughout the year.
